Andrew Pepper
Hologram artist &
senior lecturer in fine art

Andrew Pepper hologram artist from the Global Images Hologram Art Collection

A notable UK artist who both delights with his compositions and entices one to focus when viewing them.

Andrew began working with projected light and installation as an art student and had the opportunity to learn practical holography with Dan Schweitzer and Sam Moree during a Fulbright Scholarship at the Museum of Holography, New York.  Since then he has had the opportunity to show examples of his work in a number of major group and solo exhibitions internationally.

While working at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, Germany, he founded and published the first global catalogue for creative holography, and later organised the international Symposium for Art Holography, which took place at the University of Nottingham, UK.

A number of his papers on the subject of creative holography have been included in art and science publications and conferences.

Apart from his own work in the visual arts, he has been director of the Shearwater Foundation Holography Programme and the International Holography Fund, both organisations having been set up to help finance international projects in creative holography.

He is a senior lecturer in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University, UK, and a visiting lecturer in fine art at the University of Lincoln.
