Rudie had his first hologram art solo show in New York in 1979 and in 1982 a prestigious solo show at the Palazzo Fortuny during the Venice Biennale.
Then came solo shows at the Gulbenkian Museum Lisbon, the Grace Borgnicht Gallery in New York, the Fukuoka Museum in Japan, and the first ever show of holographic art at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Rudie's work is highly prized and housed in the permanent collections of numerous public galleries and private collections.
