American born but internationally recognized holographic artist. A true pioneer of art holography.
Dan taught holography for many years at New York's School of Visual Arts. In 1977, he co-founded New York Holographic Laboratories with Sam Moree, where many art holographers were trained. He received numerous awards, including the prestigious Shearwater Holographic Artist Award, for his contribution to holography as an art medium and the creation of some of it's most "classic" art works.
His works were always thought provoking, demanding understanding and often intergrated highly detailed sculptural components. Sadly Dan died in 2001
